910Telecom Building Connection Choices
(You Choose, We Connect.)

910Telecom, the classic Denver Gas & Electric Building, offers prime downtown Denver data center space with cage, cabinet and rack options, as well as rooftop space, connectivity to all the major carriers, Internet Services Providers, internet backbones and exchanges and the 910Telecom Building Meet-Me-Room. We are everything you are looking for in a data center solution. Our unique location on Denver’s “communications city block” is unlike any others in the Rocky Mountain region.

Power

910Telecom customers receive reliable, high-quality electrical power with multiple incoming commercial grids as well as generator and battery back-up. Denver’s central location within the US offers low risk of service interruptions due to natural disasters.

Power Transformers | 910 Telecom

There are nine 1,000-kva transformers providing 27,758 amps at 208 volt 3-phase 4-wire.

DC power (48-volt) is available with “true” A & B configuration. Tenant spaces have their own DC power plants.

Four 2-Megawatt auto-start back-up generators on the roof are fueled from dedicated tanks with sufficient fuel (4,000 gallons per tank) to keep the system operating for up to 72 hours. Generators kick on within 5-15 seconds in case of power failure. Monthly tests ensure that the system is ready and functions as intended.

Additionally, the entire building is designed with fire suppression, HVAC, and security in mind:

  • A pre-action double interlock waterless fire suppression (FM-200) system is installed in most of the spaces.
  • The building has no central air conditioning or ventilation system. A majority of tenants have their own closed-loop air conditioning system located on the rooftop. Some also have chilled water supplied by Xcel Energy.
  • The building is secured with a monitored card access system. Badges allow 24/7/365 access. Building security cameras are installed in all elevators and hallway floors. A security guard is stationed at the main floor entry desk weekdays.

Plus, 910Telecom installs fiber optic cable and copper cabling within EMT conduit between floors and suites to protect your services from any interruption.

Space

From a simple rack to a full data center, 910Telecom can accommodate your needs. With ample square footage of floor space, we’re ready for your build out and offer total support with infrastructure, remote hands, and superior service.

The 910Telecom Building Meet-Me-Room (BMMR)

Space - Building Meet Me Room | 910 Telecom

Originating in multiple super vaults outside the building, network fiber enters via conduits, through a junction area, to the BMMR. Distribution group fiber runs via the pipe chase to key areas such as data centers or customer rental spaces. Access fiber, a sub-component of the distribution group fiber, connects customer rental spaces to the BMMR via the pipe chase. Direct and convenient connections are made between service provider racks and customer racks in the BMMR. The 910Telecom BMMR is designed with passive and active panels to support circuit connections from T1, DS3, OC3-OC192, and GigE Ethernet.

Data Centers

Data center facilities, which include space for work or office areas, provide cage and rack space with heavy floor-load capacity and fiber raceways leading to fiber distribution panels. Data center space is available with adaptable co-location space for any size enterprise.

Cages and Racks

Cages provide a secure and private mini-data center setting that provides customers the flexibility to grow their environment rapidly without needing to relocate to another space. Standard cage options include 5-, 10-, or 15-rack cages, either 19-inch or 23-inch, and are fully installed. Space is also available for custom cage footprints needing larger square footage. These footprints are available with or without racks installed and can be customized for any purpose or application need.

Roof space for supporting equipment

Our space extends to the roof of the building, where tenants can place antennas, HVAC units and other equipment.

Connectivity

910Telecom is the largest and busiest carrier-neutral facility in the Rocky Mountain Region, with large amounts of fiber entering the building at multiple points through redundant fiber-optic loops.

The 910Telecom Building Meet-Me-Room (BMMR) is designed with passive and active panels to support circuit connections from T1, DS3, OC3-OC192, and GigE Ethernet.

Connectivity | 910Telecom

Customers within our facilities have access to hundreds of customers and national and local carriers with our multitude of partners in our building in addition to the big networks.

This allows our 910Telecom BMMR participants to choose their own carrier connectivity options, minimizing capital expenditures and lowering operational costs. And, physical connections allow data exchange without incurring local loop fees.

Diverse BMMRs have plenty of space and power to meet the telecommunications carrier’s needs.
